Aktuelle Projekte
Das Abá Familienzentrum ist ein offener, inklusiver intergenerationeller Raum für Begegnung, Bildung und gemeinsames Handeln im Stadtteil. Unser Ansatz ist lebensnah, niedrigschwellig und partizipativ. Wir unterstützen Familien in ihrem Alltag durch vielfältige Formate: offene Treffs, Kreativangebote, Bewegungs- und Gartenprojekte, Sprachcafés, Austauschformate und generationsübergreifende Aktionen. Dabei verbinden wir praktische Unterstützung mit Empowerment, Bildungsarbeit mit Kultur, Nachhaltigkeit mit sozialem Zusammenhalt. Unsere Arbeit orientiert sich am Hessischen Bildungs- und Erziehungsplan und basiert auf einem intersektionalen, diskriminierungssensiblen Leitbild. Das Zentrum wird von pädagogisch qualifiziertem Personal koordiniert, gemeinsam mit einem ehrenamtlich engagierten Team. Durch Kooperationen im Stadtteil, bewusste Ressourcennutzung und inklusive Ansprache schaffen wir einen Ort, der Familien langfristig stärkt und Gemeinschaft fördert.
Our educational work follows a resource- and everyday-oriented approach. We focus on:
- Peer-to-peer formats and low-threshold access
- Multilingualism (German, Portuguese, Spanish, Arabic, Romanian, etc.)
- Creative methods such as joint crafts, music, movement, theatre
- Movement games (indoors and outdoors): to promote motor skills, social interaction, body awareness
- Cooperative learning and board games: to strengthen language, patience and teamwork skills
- Thematic games for children: e.g., on waste separation, diversity, nutrition, and the environment
- Play-based educational units: role play, symbolic play and free play with targeted stimuli
- Homemade games made from recycled, natural materials and everyday objects – deliberately without consumer-oriented products: Children and families develop creative game ideas together (e.g. marble runs, throwing games, memory games, story cubes) and thus combine craftsmanship with sustainability and imagination
